This May, it's time to focus on your Garage! This months tips will help you organize your garage and find a place for everything!
1) Know your space! Find a place for everything! Be creative!
*TIP! Design special areas for all your items: tools, sporting goods, fishing gear, gardening, crafts, bikes, kids things, etc. Keep recycling and garbage materials close to the door for easy access.
2) Choose a sunny May day to remove and reorganize, placing all unused items together!
*TIP! Surprise your loved one with a beautiful garage for Mothers or Fathers Day.
3) Go through all unused items and arrange according to trash, donations, and things to sell!
*TIP! Recycle! Go through your unused items from your garage and house and see if there is anything that can be used for organization!
**Reward all your hard work with new organizational materials with trips to Home Depot or even local garage sales! Don't be afraid to add color! Spice up old pieces of furniture and pegboards with a fresh coat of paint!
P.S. Suzy says: Do not expect your garage to transform overnight. It takes time and careful planning, but is well worth it in the end!
